Each semester LHMS offers a variety of after
school classes which students may register for.
The classes are taught by faculty members and
the topics vary greatly. Some classes that have
been taught previously have been: Print Shop
Creations, Tech Time, Jump Rope, Christmas art,
Cooking, Cartooning, Kick Boxing, Maku-up, Dance,
Cheer-leading study skills, and many, many more.
Each
semester there are different classes. Community
Ed classes meet once a week for four to six
weeks. Information fliers are sent home each
Fall and Spring. Since class sizes are limited,
students are accepted for each class on a first
come basis. There is a small registration fee
for each class. Classes are usually held on
Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30.
Parents
picking up students are asked to enter through
Magnolia Trace Elementary. We will dismiss from
the Bus Loading Zone near the Gymnasium.
Information
fliers explain that any student not picked up
on time(4:30) will be sent to AfterCare and
will need to pay the one time registration fee
and the daily fee.
