Once a year students throughout the school participate
in grade level outdoor activities for Field
Day. Classes compete with one another in friendly
competition as they accomplish a variety of
atheletic activites which may include sack races,
relays of all sorts, egg toss competition, tug-of-war,
water relay, and much more. The emphasis is
on team work rather than on winning.
This
year's Field Day was centered around a theme
based on the Dr. Seuss books. Each station included
something found in one of the books, which had
been read to each class during weeks previous
to Field Day.
