A Word from Mrs. Fisher

March 15 - 19, 2010

Dear Parents:
Good luck to Matthew S. who will be traveling to Hammond this week for the Regional Science Fair.

Report cards will go home on Thursday, March 18th. Please review with your child.

The 4th grading period has begun. We're in for the home stretch!
Students are to continue reading daily for 20 minutes. AR goals were met by Lauren, Preston, Leelond, Matt R., Rylee, Victoria and Wesley. Great Job!
We are asking for nutritional snacks and/or bottled water for testing week. Please see the note attached to this overview. Thanks!

We have been emphasizing test taking strategies and will continue to do so until testing week. Please have your child utilize the LA Pass web site for additional practice.

LHMS would like to encourage families to participate in Earth Hour 2010!
It's easy! Just flip off your lights for one hour on March 27th at 8:30 P.M. local time, and you will be making the switch to a cleaner, more secure, and prosperous America. Learn more about how Earth Hour began, what we've accomplished, and what is in store for 2010 at https://www.myearthhour.org/
