A Word from Mrs. Fisher

November 17, 2008

Dear Parents,
The following student's have already reached 100% or higher of his/her AR goal:
Camden, Rachel, Shelby, Jake, Katherine, Tyler, Nicolas, Chase and Thomas. Way to go! ! ! Several others are very close to attaining his/her AR goals. Keep up the great work!

Congratulations to Shelby Duhe'! She has been nominated for Student of the Year! GOOD LUCK Shelby!

Thank you very much for the donations you contributed to our Food Drive Collection. Your acts of kindness and generosity will feed someone hungry this holiday season.

Currently our 4-H Club is collecting school supplies for the St. Helena Central High School. The only high school within this parish recently burned to the ground. This has put an overwhelming burden on this community. We are collecting pencils, pens, notebooks, loose leaf paper, binders, folders, paper clips, tape, sticky notes, report covers, glue, rulers, etc. Any school supply that you donate will be greatly appreciated.

Additionally, on Friday, November 21st, for a $1.00 donation, we will have our LHMS students wear a cap to school. The Caps for Kids donations will benefit kids who are being treated for cancer. Thank you for everything you do!
