Mrs. Susie Artell
Welcome to the LHMS library. We are continuing to acquire books which will support the curriculum and provide recreational reading for students. We are also working to furnish our library with a wide choice of Accelerated Reading Books.

Students come to the library once a week with their class for 45 minutes. The library is also open in the morning before class starts and is open at recess (except for raining day recess days).

Gift Book Program

“A book is a gift you can open again and again.”

Summit Lane

Celebrate your child’s birthday or a special occasion by donating a book to the LHMS Library. Gift books may also honor friends, relatives and LHMS faculty and staff members.

The Gift Book program asks for a minimum donation of $15. This allows the librarian to order hardback books for our library.

The book will be presented during your child’s library period. A book plate with your child’s name and the special occasion will be included in the book. In addition, your child will be the first student to check out the book.
