THANKS SO MUCH to all the parents who helped to make our Luau at the Lake awesome! I think the kids had a wonderful time, and we were able to raise money for more great technology in our classroom! Also, ancestor projects turned out beautifully! Our class is the best!

Our International Feast is this Friday, 11/21 at 12:30. Plan to serve about 15-20 people, as there is PLENTY of food!! Family members are invited to attend.

If students give a $1.00 donation, they can wear a hat to school Friday, 11/21 for “Caps for Kids.”

Next week (11/24-11/28) are our Thanksgiving holidays. Enjoy this time with your families.

This Week’s Lessons:

Math: We will continue with multiplication. Please practice this at home. Some students do not know their facts, and it is slowing them down greatly in math. Please make sure to study facts each night!!

Reading: We will continue reading Little House on the Prairie. Vocabulary and comprehension Ch. 11-15 will be tested Wednesday.

Language: We will complete our Thansgiving essays, which will be graded. We will test on the noun unit Thursday.

Spelling: We will cover Unit 16. Words are in the students’ binder and the test will be Thursday.

Science: We are completing work on magnets. The test will be Thursday.

Social Studies: We willnot do Weekly Social Studies this week. We are working in Chapter 3 in the book. Lessons 1&2 will be tested Wednesday.
