A Note From Your Teacher

6th Grade's Annual World Culture Day is Coming on April 22nd! We are in desperate need of speakers!!!

Who would be a good speaker? Anyone who has several years experience in a different country other than our own can be a presenter. We have had speakers that were native to the country they were presenting, but we have also had many who may have just lived in another country for a few years.

What does this presentation entail? Normally speakers bring items that are part of the country's culture and present basic facts about the country. We email or send home topic information that we would like the kids to get from the presentation. Speakers present the same presentation 4 times (4 different groups of students). Presentation normally lasts about 30 minutes. It normally lasts from about 8:30 to 12:30. So if you are interested, have a neighbor, friend, or family member who is interested, we would be so delighted to have you/them!!! Please contact ASAP.
