Reading
& Language Arts- We will finish reading
our story, Number the Stars! It is SUCH a good
book! There will be an end of the book test on
the Tuesday after Thanksgiving break. In Language,
we are working on our writing skills, and using
apostrophes correctly with possessive nouns. Students
should read from their AR books 30 minutes each
night.
Spelling-
We are on Unit 14: /z/, /zh/ sounds. Unit 14 words
- magazine, pessimism, conclusion, optimism, television,
amaze, cruise, casual, husband, phase, vision,
browse, usual, freeze, visual, scissors, arise,
pause, visitor, tease. **Challenge words** applause,
positively. Spelling homework for the week is
3 choices, due on Thursday. Our pretest will be
on Thursday, and our test is on Friday.
