This Week:

READING – This week we will read “Ultimate Field Trip 5”, pgs. 95-106. We will be working on the Vocabulary Skill of Context Clue this week. The students’ vocab. and comp. quizzes will be on Thursday this week.

MATH – We will Review and take Quik Quizzes 1 & 2 on Monday and Tuesday. We will then begin a quick review of Addition and Subtraction. Be sure to ask your student about their Multiplication Times Tables Test (MTTT) this week. These tests should come home in your child’s Tuesday Home-School Folder.

LANG. ARTS – We continue our Review of Sentences with Combining Sentences. The students will begin a packet of activities on Sentence Fluency on Wednesday.

SCIENCE – We begin Lesson 2 – Human Body Systems this week. We will read about the Circulatory, Respiratory and Digestive Systems and begin some Brain Pop activities and quizzes.

SOC. STUDIES – We will finish up our study of the 3 Civilizations: Mayans, Incans and Aztecs this week. We will review on Tuesday, make flashcards on Wednesday and take the Ch. 1 Test on Friday!

SPELLING – Unit 4 words written 3 times each in ABC order, crossword, word search, and WB pgs. 21 & 22 all due Thursday. Multiple Choice quiz on Thursday and written test on Friday.
