Introduction

This web Quest will talk about sharks. There are many different types of sharks that live in the ocean. An example would be like an Angel shark and a Swell shark. You will learn all about the life of sharks, how and what they eat, about their habitat, and more.

Tasks

1. Write a report on some of the types of sharks that live in the ocean.
2. Tell about how sharks survive in underwater life and what they like to do there.
3. Answer the 20 questions that are asked.


Procedure

Task 1 Rquirements: write on the assigned topic, must be 200 words, correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, at least 3 paragraphs, and at least 7 or more sentences in each paragraph

Task 2 requirements: do the same procedure in the task above except write on the assignment that was given.

Task 3 requirements: Answer the following questions:

2. How many teeth can a shark have in a lifetime?
3. About how many years have sharks been around?
4. What is a basihyals?
5. What is the name of the biggest shark?
6. How many rows of teeth are sharks possibly able to have?
7. Can a shark blink? Explain.
8. What is the fastest speed the fastest shark is able to go up to?
9. Are sharks warm blooded or cold blooded?
10. What is the name group that sharks, skates, and rays belong in?
11. Where do Atlantic sharks go in the summer? North or south?
12. All species of sharks have a small range. True or false?
13. How many species of sharks are known to attack humans?
14. What is the range in percent of how much own bodyweight a shark eats each.
15. Is a midwater shark among the smallest shark?
16. A shark skeleton is made of cartilage. True or false?
17. Can a Tiger shark grow 15 ft. at the max?
18. What happens when a Zebra shark grows mature?
19. What is a Sandbar shark?
20. What is the diet of a White Spotted Bamboo Shark?
