Mission

Apollo 14 was the mission that was sent to complete Mission 13's tasks. Its job was to take lunar photography and to conduct lunar orbital experiments. The astronauts successfully activated the experiments package. The experiment was to send data of the moon's interior/exterior back the earth. They also collected 96 lbs. of lunar rock for testing. The crew was Alan Shepard, Stuart Roosa, and Edgar Mitchell. Before departure from the moon, Shepard hit a golf ball across the surface just for kicks.
