From the desk of Mrs. Taylor……….
Wow! November 17th! Time just goes by so fast.
This is my favorite time of year – Thanksgiving. It seems to be the holiday that gets skipped over. I like to take this time and think about the many blessings I have. My family, friends, a cozy home, my three children, my job………..The list could go on and on and on.
Your children are a true blessing to me! I appreciate and am thankful for the opportunity to work with them.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me to work with your child and being so supportive.
Thank You!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
What’s Going on in the Classroom?
Weekly Reader – It is Turkey Time!
Language Arts – We have all students on Edmark reading. They are all on a different level but doing well. We also use our weekly reader for comprehension skills. We continue to work on sentence skills in oral communication and writing.
Math – We will continue to work on touch dot math one and two digits. We will begin subtraction after the break! Some students are doing recognition of numbers still.
CAPS FOR KIDS!
Students can pay $1 to wear a hat to school on Friday the 21st. The money goes to help cancer research. We currently have several students battling cancer in our school system. Lets show our support by wearing a hat on Friday.
