Lake Harbor Middle offers individual and small group instruction for both the violin and the cello. Students meet with their instructor once a week for thirty minutes. Students must have their own instruments in order to participate.

Violin and cello students perform several times a year as part of different school concerts, the Christmas Concert, and the Spring Concert. They are often involved in other school activities, such as "An Evening with the Stars," Art Adventure Day, other of events sponsored by the school.
