LHMS and MES PTA's websites have been awarded Louisiana PTA's
highest award, the Award of Excellence. Representatives for both
schools attended a St. Tammany Parish School Board Meeting where
they were recognized for this esteemed award.

Major financial support for Cultural Arts, including Young Audiences performances, the Written & Illustrated program, Art Adventure Day, and World Culture Day.

Major financial support for technology, including purchasing educational software and services, Accelerated Reader quiz purchases, and computer supplies for every teacher.

Major volunteer support for library, office, and numerous school activities.

Annual teacher mini-grant awards.

Support of monthly LHMS Newsletter, The Beacon.

Major support for Healthy Lifestyles and Safety with fundraising to support playground improvement and healthy lifestyles, an Internet Safety.
